Exploring the city as classroom in Copenhagen
In November 2019, Raido partnered up with a school for Higher Preparatory Examination and Adult Education (HF & VUC) in Denmark to explore new ways to increase the graduation rate for students starting the 2-year Higher Preparatory Examination (HF) programme.
The research and development resulted in a joint pilot programme rethinking the internship and/or project period that is part of the mandatory HF curriculum. Focus is on practical learning, strengthened peer-to-peer relations and achieving personal experiences of success whilst using Copenhagen city as a classroom.
The programme has been developed with high involvement of students and educators as in Denmark. The pilot is due to be tested in the school year starting Fall 2020.
